6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your personal information may be collected, transferred to, and stored by Regal Rexnord in the United States and by our affiliates and service providers that are based in other countries. Therefore, your personal information may be processed outside of your country. Some countries have implemented transfer restrictions for personal information, in connection with which Regal Rexnord takes various measures, including:

  • Where required, implementing Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU commission, or similar contractual clauses in other jurisdictions and effective safeguards;
  • Transferring personal information to countries that regulators deemed to have adequate protections for the treatment of personal information;

Please contact us at data.protection@regalrexnord.com if you would like to see a copy of the specific safeguards we apply to the export of your personal information where legally required.

On request, we will make a copy of our standard data protection clauses, including the appendix as completed by us, available to you free of charge. To the extent necessary to protect business secrets or other confidential information, including personal data, we may redact part of the text of the appendix prior to sharing a copy, but will provide a meaningful summary where you would otherwise not be able to understand its content or exercise your rights. On request, we will provide you with the reasons for the redactions, to the extent possible without revealing the redacted information. Please submit your request via the contact details set out in Section 13.

Sales. We do not share your personal data with the parties listed in this Privacy Policy in a manner that constitutes a "sale" under the CCPA, Nevada Revised Statutes 603A or other applicable law.

7. RETENTION PERIODS.

Our retention periods for personal information are based on business needs and legal requirements. We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and otherwise as long as is necessary for the processing purpose(s) for which it was collected and any other permitted, linked purpose. Where personal information, including sensitive personal information, is no longer needed, we either irreversibly anonymize the data (in which case we may further retain and use the anonymized data) or securely destroy the data. In some jurisdictions, personal information may be retained for a longer period if you consent to the retention or if retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation. Your newsletter registration data will be deleted after you inform us that you no longer want to receive marketing information from us. Your job applicant data will be deleted within the local statutory retention periods. If you are a customer or vendor contact, your data will be kept as long as we consider your company a customer of our products. In case of a deletion request, we may be required to delete all or certain of your personal data sooner.

You can withdraw your consent as follows: send an email request to data.protection@regalrexnord.com or use the “unsubscribe”-button if you have received newsletters or regular communication and wish to withdraw your consent to such communication. Further, you can object to the use of your personal data for the purposes of marketing without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs in accordance with basic tariffs;
